I actually use this fan because my south-corner room full of aquariums has no ventilation, and the windows don't allow for good air circulation. This makes my room unbearable for sleeping and my nose gets stuffy.
Coincidentally, the styrofoam supports that the fan come with fit perfectly together to form a seal in my window.
After fitting a duct-collar through one of the styrofoam blocks and setting up the ducting, my room doesn't smell, my nose isn't stuffy, and it's way more comfortable in my room.
Now im considering buying another for use as an intake. It comes with a 10-speed controller, which has an extra long cord, and I'm surprised at how quiet the lower speeds are. After halfway to max speed, it gets noisy.
After months of researching whether it was worth spending the $120 for this project to make my room comfortable, I can easily say I am happy I did this and love this fan and what it has done for my room.
